Frequently Asked Questions
Responses to some of the more common questions are here, and

for additional information.
How long does a session last?
Sessions with Angela are typically one hour. You may
also choose to
book a ninety minute session.
Is the integrated session like a massage?
Actually, it is quite different from a massage. The
client
remains fully clothed and may lie on a massage table, or sit
comfortably in a chair. The practitioner
then uses light touch or tapping
of various areas of the body. In Reiki, the areas correspond to the
chakras. In BodyTalk, the areas may correspond to organs, endocrines,
or body parts.
Do I need to prepare for the session?
You
only need to bring any concerns that you would like to address to the
session. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. Energy flows better
when there are no underwire bras or belts.
Are these modalities safe?
Yes, Reiki and BodyTalk are
completely safe, pain-free and
non-invasive. You may feel free to discuss these integrative therapies
with
your physician as they are an excellent complement to conventional
medical
care. Best of all, there are no side effects!
What does Reiki mean?
Reiki is a Japanese word that means spiritual
healing
energy.
Reiki practitioners utilize this energy to promote a deep
peace
and energy balancing for the client. The energy works for the highest
good on the physical, spiritual and emotional levels. To learn more, go
to What is Reiki.
How does BodyTalk work?
BodyTalk
combines a formal protocol and your body's innate wisdom for
determining your priorities for healing. It is a safe, non-invasive
therapy that synchronizes your energetic pathways. For more
information, please see What is
BodyTalk.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of
sessions required depends upon your health and how well you respond to
the
therapy. Some chronic problems may fare better with ongoing treatment,
while
other conditions may be resolved within 2-3 sessions. In order to
maintain
holistic health and prevent illness, you may choose to continue
treatment on a
bi-weekly or monthly basis.
